The Mission
As part of a digital experience agency, we’re encouraged to explore new ways to blend creativity with technology. That curiosity led to the creation of the JingleBot AI Holiday Card Generator, a fun, interactive tool that invites people to design their own holiday cards. Our goal was to create an experience that felt as simple and engaging as a BuzzFeed quiz. I designed the platform's visual identity, creating the illustrations, animations, and interface that brought each category and interaction to life.
The Hook
Users choose from four categories: holiday theme, animal, character, and art style. Each unique combination produces a one-of-a-kind card, complete with a custom image and poem inspired by their selections. JingleBot combined OpenAI's GPT-3.5 for poem generation with MidJourney for image creation. Working alongside developers, we refined prompts through prompt engineering to produce consistent, high-quality results. When we discovered the AI struggled to accurately represent some minority holidays, developers incorporated reference images into the code to better guide the models, creating more appropriate and inclusive outputs than off-the-shelf AI tools.
